Dubai is an incredibly breathtaking place to visit and is extraordinarily popular with tourists all over the globe.  Those who visit the beautiful city are likely to be dazzled by the pureness of the sand and the goliath scale of the skyscrapers.  Just by looking at a few pictures of this awe-inspiring city is enough to convince even the most skeptical of tourists that there’s more going on than meets the eye.

With the holidays fast approaching, Dubai offers a memorable experience allowing tourists to soak up the sun on the magnificent beaches while enjoying limitless culinary delights in award-winning Michelin starred restaurants.  All of this comes with awe-inspiring iconic views of the city.  If you’re into sports, or are just curious about what Dubai has to offer in the wild world of professional athletics, you can watch local and global athletes take part in some of the most renowned international sporting events.  If sports aren’t your thing, there is still so much to do.  If shopping is more your style, shop till you can’t go on in any of Dubai’s 96 malls or souks.

The BurjKhalifa and more!

While visiting this amazing city, you can take a stroll among millions of blooms in the Dubai Miracle Garden or stand atop of the world’s tallest building for a sight truly to behold.  The BurjKhalifa, which is also known as the Burj Dubai back before its inauguration in the year 2010, is a massive skyscraper in Dubai.  The total height of this massive structure towers 829.8 m high, with a roof height of 828 m.  At the bottom of this towering building rests The Dubai right alongside the gigantic Dubai Mall.  The fountain erupts into variously programmed choreographed aquatic dances and the show is also accompanied by music and light shows every thirty minutes starting around 6 pm.

The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

Located on its very own island, sits one of the biggest hotels in the world. The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah features multiple suites that overlook the sea, a full-service spa, and nine different signature restaurants with a ton of delicious menu choices.  Guests have the option to arrive in style by chauffeur-driven fleets of Rolls-Royce’s or by a make their grand appearance from the air via an elite helicopter transfer service.  The terrace offers its own restaurant, bar, two swimming pools, and 32 luxury cabanas.

One of the most amazing features of The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is the Sky View Bar which is suspended a staggering 656 feet above sea level and gives guests an amazing view to sit and enjoy afternoon tea and cocktails.  The signature restaurant is called the Al Muntaha and provides guests with an unforgettable fine-dining experience, unlike no other specializing in contemporary European cuisine.  To those who would rather spend as much time as possible soaking up the sun on the beach, the Villa Beach restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner.

As if Dubai and The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah didn’t already sound amazing enough, the Talise Spa, also found in the hotel, offers both gentlemen’s and ladies’ relaxation areas that are equipped with a unique aqua retreat experience.  Facilities include hot tubs, treatment rooms, and two separate indoor infinity pools. Tourists who are familiar with Dubai will agree with one thing, and that’s the fact that the city isn’t short on spectacular views.  The treatment rooms in the hotel are no exception, sporting an amazing view overlooking the Arabian Gulf.  Spa lovers will also find steam rooms, plunge pools, and saunas as well.

Old and New Dubai

If you want the best view hop on board a Dubai Fountain boat tour and take in the musical geyser performance.  If you like getting your photo taken, you might want to reconsider when visiting the Dubai Frame.  This enormous landmark shows the view between two sides of Dubai in the picture from the vantage point it creates.  One perspective allows you to view Old Dubai, while the other angle shows New Dubai and its along with its skyscrapers. From inside, the 360-degree view from the top stretches past to present and sky to earth with a stunning glass-bottomed walkway connecting the two 150-meter towers. If you journey down to the lower floors, you will find exhibits dedicated to the future of Dubai.

If you’re looking for some winter sports to do when visiting this immaculate city, you’re actually in luck!  Ski Dubai is the best antidote to beat the heat of the desert, allowing you to spend the day on the slopes with skiing or snowboarding.  Featuring the world’s first indoor black run, the ski center is made up of five runs of varying difficulty.  Don’t worry about packing your snow gear either, ticket prices cover ski attire as well.

Final Thoughts

No matter what your preference is, you’re sure to find something up your alley in Dubai.  From indoor skiing to paintballing to relaxing on the beach, Dubai has it al l.  The only question left is when to visit? This brings up another fantastic fact about this amazing tourist location.  You can expect year-round sunny weather making it a tourist attraction that works well with the varying schedule of different people.  In the winter months, Dubai may experience a bit more rain and wind than usual but other than that, the weather is still beautiful and the beaches are still open.  With all the options and choices to choose from it’s easy to see why this city is at the top of many tourists’ favorite locations.  Don’t believe me?  Book a trip and find out for yourself.  You won’t be disappointed.
