Women Sphere January Issue

“We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started  and know the place for the first time.”

                           T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets

The idea of a magazine—this magazine—came to me after coming full circle and appreciating the journey and the power of the ‘sphere.’ Three years ago, I’d given serious thought to creating the magazine of my dreams but I didn’t think I was up to the task of managing one.  Just having to worry about the contents and the workload of keeping up with all the trends and events around the world, gave me palpitations.  So, instead, I decided to start a blog and forget about a magazine for the time being.  I started my blog in 2018 and enjoyed sharing my perspectives on life but I was always hindered by the fact that I was not allowed to be carefree, because doing so would mean giving up too much personal information about myself.  I struggled with that for a long time—I didn’t want to continue if I couldn’t be authentic.

Then something happened, and I’m not referring to COVID-19…yet.

I had an accident and ended up in a cast for 5 months. I also found out I was pregnant and now, over a year later, I have an incredible little toddler who brings me so much joy.

As if that wasn’t enough to handle, Covid-19 then hit and life changed around the whole world for everyone.  I realized that time was actually more precious than I had previously thought. I had taken a lot of things for granted and being home with my baby—having nowhere to go—allowed me the grace to gain a different perspective about life.

I wrote down all the things I would like to do and decided to start doing them one after the other.  I revisited the idea of a fashion and lifestyle magazine and decided that I will try it out. I will give it my best and hopefully my passion for writing and my interest in fashion will prove contagious. I also feel the need to do something meaningful with my life about the plight of young girls and women around the world. I believe that by sharing their stories with the world we can highlight their problems and successes and hopefully inspire others to live their dreams and aspire for a better future.

So, here I am with this crazy idea of finally starting my magazine, WOMEN SPHERE.  The name derives from the fact that a sphere metaphorically encompasses your area of influence, and you, in turn, influence your environment based on the way you see the world.  The dynamic between influencer/influenced is spherical, and just, as I’ve come full circle in my perspective about the world, I sincerely hope this magazine will become your parameter for measuring what women aspire to be in our ever-changing society.

Women Sphere is different from other fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines because we want to bring a different perspective to the way people view the world around them. We believe in creativity without any limits, no rules to follow, just you being you.

As the saying goes, imagination is the mother of creativity, and at Women Sphere we allow our imaginations to guide us and not the norms of society.

Most fashion magazines are read by women around the world, so, we hope to capture the imagination of women around the world who dare to dream of a world where there are no limitations—where you are allowed to be your true self, irrespective of what the norms are. Yes, you might have heard all that before, however, why not see for yourself!

Welcome!  And enjoy our fun-filled pages of knowledge, inspiring stories, elegance and design.

Indulge yourself in our sphere!
